I was born in Honduras a beautiful country that gave me a lot of inspiration, back in the days I was always painting at my art studio, and it was my escape from reality. Art helps me in many ways to relax and find inner peace, is a feeling that is hard to describe because is almost surreal and magical. I’m a self-taught artist and art runs through my veins in my entire my life I been into the art industry and is fun to see my artwork sold to art buyers from different part of the world.

My journey as a painter in Miami Florida started years ago, I first began featuring my artwork during Brickell Art Walk and other art galleries. As the years passed, I took the decision to have my own art gallery that is named Laelanie Art Gallery located in Miami, a dream I had since I was a kid, and it came true. Sometimes I have a hard time with clients that don’t value my artwork and are the type of person I like to avoid; they need to see that my artwork has a lot of value and effort. I put a lot of effort into my artwork, marketing and basically, I do everything alone, is fun to see my own brand grow and sometimes I just wish to see my paintings at a museum or inside a huge hotel covering their lobby with my abstract paintings.

All my paintings are originals and hand painted with the finest oils on thick canvas, I like to use oils because the color is more intense, and they last longer. Also, an oil painting has more value than an acrylic painting that is water based, I really don’t like to use acrylic because is not my style and it doesn’t have the same effect as an oil painting, believe me when you see my paintings all the colors they will jump out from the artwork. I like to use vibrant colors because it also reflects my strong character and when I just want to relax, I’m painting a nice coastal painting.
