Back in Honduras she loved going to the beach and the lake, a beautiful place that is inspiring with surreal mountains, trees and she loved to sail away on a boat and take photos of those stunning mountains with palm trees and red macaws flying while she was sailing in the lake. Is a peaceful place that she used to visit a lot and therefore you will find in her paintings a lot of waterfalls and ocean waves, that brings her memories of the lake and the beach back in Honduras. Laelanie Larach is also a self-taught artist that began painting with oils and watercolors, her first oil painting is a forest with tall surreal trees around mountains, waterfalls, butterflies and red macaws flying under a blue sky of dreams that vanished in her imagination without limits. 

The name of the painting is “Bosque Misterioso” and is a special original oil painting that she created at a young age in Honduras; the painting has a traditional art style with earth colors that captures the beauty of Honduras and our natural surroundings. Laelanie Larach then began creating large oil paintings with a surreal and contemporary style that included flying fairies, butterflies and moments that she experienced during her childhood in Honduras. All the paintings that she created in Honduras are part of her private art collection and therefore they are not for sale because all of them carries special moments from her days in Honduras. 

At a young age Laelanie Larach always had in mind to have her own art gallery and sell her original oil paintings around the world, that was always her goal and one day she left Honduras to pursue her dream in Miami! At first it was hard because she didn’t know anyone in Miami, she started attending art exhibitions and promoting her paintings to the gallery’s owners. Laelanie Larach first solo art exhibition was in Brickel Art Walk, she showcases her mixed media paintings, and everyone loved her unique tridimensional technique that she was using during that time. Then she later was part of live art shows and art exhibitions, and it was a beautiful journey and hard because she did it alone, without the help of anyone.
